Skin Portal

Context
The work ‘’Skin Portal’’ is an abstract line drawing that contains a second Augmented Reality layer. By activating the portal (as AR effect, hosted very accessible on Instagram, access via provided QR code: Follow the QR code and take a look at the motif through the effect lens on Instagram), the orbs and shapes of the motif will swirl around and connect the body of the owner with their world. This very conceptual piece connects everyone who owns a skin portal and they become part of the same parallel universe.
Instructions
It should be tattooed accurately and with the correct line thickness. For the Augmented Reality layer to work, it has to be the exact motif with the exact colours. Some skin and ink shades might lead to an irritation of the image target detection. So the functionality cannot unfortunately be guaranteed.
