Context

The Post-It series by Sigalot cleverly mocks the seriousness and pretentiousness often associated with the art world. By turning something as trivial as a post-it note into a high-concept piece, they highlight the absurdity of how art is sometimes overanalysed and commodified. Applying this same ironic approach to tattoos is equally subversive. The tattoo world often leans toward overly serious or sentimental designs. By choosing a tattoo inspired by the ironic Post-It series, the wearer not only embraces humour and self-awareness but also challenges the conventions of tattoo culture itself.
