Context

In Kennedy’s universe, bunnies become fierce survivalists. With bloody mouths and big dumbbells, they prepare for scarce resources, serving as a disturbing allegory for the darker side of overpopulation. There is a playful aggression to the works, a kind of opposition, as if the bunnies are trying to shed their assigned roles as harmless crowd pleasers or laboratory animals and rise in resistance and strength. Some are more successful than others.
