Works on Skin Flight 3 at SMAC Berlin - A Night of Art, Ink & Originals

Around 200 guests attended the launch party for Flight 3 at the SMAC gallery of Matthias Birkholz in Berlin-Mitte. Among them were numerous artists from Flight 1-3, including Christian Jankowski, Katharina Arndt, Slater Bradley, Yurika Saito, Moritz Reichelt, Olav Westphalen, Sascha Boldt, Bettina Semmer, Tracey Snelling, Luke Velten Friebe, René Wirths, Katharina Grossmann-Hensel and Tina Berning. Other guests included photographer Menno Aden, collector Ui Seibert, journalist Catrin Sieger, art consultant Inge Friebe, writer Marc Ottiker, author Christian Y. Schmidt, architect Caroline Wegener, artist Nikolaus List, gallerist Alexandra Erlhoff, Senator Friedemann Sittig, artist Jurgen Ostarhild, artist Kathrin Kampmann, artist Roman Frechen, artist Axel Bunt, video artist Mascha Naumova and many more.

Several of the new editions were purchased on site, bringing the total number of artworks sold to over 300. The works of Daniel Richter and Monica Bonvicini proved to be particular favorites with the public after their publication on the website. In addition, tattoo artist Alistair Walter tattooed two designs on collector Michael. The evening ended at midnight with a DJ set by Jim Avignon.
