We wholeheartedly wish "Totalkünstler" Timm Ulrichs all the best on his 86th birthday today and celebrate his impressive body of work on this day. A linguistic artist, sculptor and performance artist - he was active in a wide variety of fields, always with an incredible presence. He was never afraid of making pointed comments about the art world: "Artists should actually be paid to produce nothing, or to present a work only once in a blue moon, simply to reflect.
